Infographic Reflection
For this project I fulfilled my role of Layout Designer by designing the infographic and put together the layout myself. I had to decide what pictures were needed to be made by the graphic designer based on the facts that my group had for our topic. I created with some help from my partners the idea of what facts to use and the order they are presented. I definitely feel like I took on the jobs of my partners. I found myself having to keep my group on task and reminding them of what was needed to be done which is the job of the project manager. I also made many of the graphic images in my infographic such as the football field with the track around it, the soccer field, the soccer ball, the flag title and the books.
Having the job of Layout Designer, I had to put all of the information and the graphics into one Illustrator document.
The project manager had the resources to sources of information about the topic. Managing time on the computer was not a problem with our group as our document was on one computer and the other one was only used by the graphic designer when creating images. The Project Manager cited the reliable sources and created a few images for the infographic. The graphic artist created around half of the artwork for our infographic. The Graphic Designer did not develop the visual representation of facts and statistics but partially supported the Project Manager and I when asked.
